I. Product Overview and Technical Characteristics
Linear bearings, as precision linear motion transmission components, hold a significant position in the field of industrial automation due to their unique structural design and excellent performance. The product primarily consists of four core components: an outer cylinder, a retainer, steel balls, and sealing rings. Through precise matching, it achieves low-friction, high-sensitivity linear motion. Compared to other linear motion components, linear bearings offer remarkable cost advantages while maintaining medium-to-high precision, making them a highly cost-effective linear guidance solution.
To meet market demands, our company has developed a comprehensive product series, including standard models such as cylindrical type, flanged type, and box units. Among these, the miniature ball bushing stands out as a featured product. Its innovative structural design allows it to maintain a compact size while combining both linear and rotational motion capabilities, significantly expanding its application scenarios. To accommodate diverse working conditions, all models are available in standard and corrosion-resistant specifications, ensuring stable performance in various environments.
II. Working Principles and Usage Specifications
The working principle of linear bearings is based on the cyclic rolling of steel balls between the outer cylinder and the guide shaft. This design enables nearly frictionless linear motion while maintaining high motion accuracy. It is particularly important to note that standard linear bearings are suitable only for pure linear motion scenarios and must not be subjected to rotational loads, as this may cause retainer deformation or ball jamming.
For installation and usage, strict adherence to matching tolerance requirements is essential. We strongly recommend using guide shafts with a g6 tolerance grade and bearing housings with an h7 tolerance grade, as these are critical factors for ensuring smooth system operation and extending service life. All factory products undergo rigorous quality inspections and are coated with specialized anti-rust oil for protection. Users should evaluate whether supplemental lubrication is required based on actual working conditions, especially in high-speed, high-load, or special-environment applications.
III. Product Series and Structural Features
Our product line encompasses various structural forms, each designed for specific application needs:
1. Standard Linear Bearings: Featuring a fully enclosed structure, they provide optimal dustproof and waterproof performance, making them suitable for most conventional working conditions. Their symmetrical design allows unrestricted installation orientation, greatly simplifying the assembly process.
2. Open-Type Linear Bearings: Equipped with precision adjustment slots on the sidewall of the outer cylinder, these allow users to fine-tune radial clearance via adjustment bolts. This feature effectively compensates for installation errors, making them particularly suitable for applications requiring high motion accuracy.
3. Clearance-Adjustable Linear Bearings: Incorporating a unique preload mechanism, these eliminate minor vibrations during operation. This model excels in fields with stringent requirements for motion stability, such as precision instruments and testing equipment.
4. Flanged Linear Bearings: Innovatively integrating mounting flanges with the bearing body, these not only save installation space but also significantly enhance structural rigidity. The multi-hole flange design offers flexible installation options, making them ideal for space-constrained applications.
IV. Material Selection and Working Condition Adaptation
We provide comprehensive solutions in material selection:
1. Standard Specification Products: Manufactured from high-quality carbon steel and subjected to special heat treatment processes, these ensure strength while offering excellent wear resistance. Surface chrome plating further enhances rust resistance, making them suitable for general industrial environments.
2. Corrosion-Resistant Specification Products: Made from 304 or 440 series stainless steel, these are processed with special techniques to ensure dimensional stability. This series can withstand acid, alkali, and humid environments, fully meeting the stringent requirements of industries such as food processing and medical equipment.
For retainers, we offer two options: steel retainers provide higher strength and durability, making them suitable for heavy-load or impact-load conditions; resin retainers excel in noise reduction and cost control, making them ideal for light-load, low-noise applications.
