iHF Factory Study Tour: Igniting Children's Technological Dreams and Witnessing "Made in China with a Chinese Heart"

Jul. 31, 2025 Views:3

On July 30, 2025, the iHF Industrial Technology Park hosted a unique parent-child study tour. 22 families visited this 50,000-square-meter intelligent manufacturing base, interacting closely with robotic dogs, exploring automated production lines, playing ring toss, learning about artificial intelligence, and even participating in hands-on "screw-driving" practice, planting the seeds of innovation through the collision of technology and labor.

The air was stuffy due to the recent rainy season, but it did not dampen the students' enthusiasm for the study tour. They arrived at the factory early to sign in and take photos. They were not only looking forward to the event, but also curious about their parents' work.

At the beginning of the event, Mr. Cao Xiaolin, General Manager of iHF Group, attended and expressed the original intention of holding the event. He hoped that students would step out of the textbooks and experience technology firsthand, witnessing the development of Chinese manufacturing and AI, while also understanding the hardships their parents face at work and striving harder for the future.

01 Immersive Technological Experience Through Fun

To enhance the study tour experience, a ring toss activity was planned, which was very popular with the students. Prizes included building blocks, Nezha pendants, and blind boxes. Everyone expressed their desire to try, eagerly lining up and participating in an orderly fashion. This moment broke down barriers and brought strangers closer together.

Then, amidst a chorus of "Wow!", the nimble robot dog instantly captured everyone's attention. Controlling it with a joystick to perform jumps and rolls allowed participants to experience the charm of high-precision transmission. "It's as obedient as a real dog!" a boy exclaimed excitedly. Mr. Cao Xiaolin revealed on-site that the robot dog's core transmission components are joint motors and gears independently developed by iHF, a company that has been supporting the development of the humanoid robot industry for many years.

02 Stepping into the Workshop, Exploring the Heart of Intelligent Manufacturing

Afterwards, students and parents followed staff on a tour of the production workshop. The workshop was remarkably orderly, and a group of Minions stood out, making the usually bustling workshop seem a little cramped. The students observed very attentively, witnessing for the first time how raw materials were transformed into such a dazzling and radiant form by skilled workers and machines, finding it truly amazing. iHF, with 25 years of manufacturing experience, is a manufacturing enterprise integrating R&D, sales, and service. Its FA industrial parts are produced quickly and efficiently, capable of replacing similar standard products on the market at a 1:1 ratio. They are affordable, high-quality, and have earned the recognition and trust of leading listed companies.

We arrived at the fully automated logistics system of the smart warehousing center. A staff member explained that when the back-end system receives an order, orders with in-stock items are automatically dispatched. The task is then transferred to the smart warehouse, where AGV robots traverse a forest of shelves, and the automated storage and retrieval system automatically stacks goods, quickly achieving the magic of automation from stock transfer and packaging to order fulfillment. My classmate said, "Isn't that like robots working for free, saving money and increasing efficiency? So that's how JD.com's fast delivery works!" What a clever new mind, able to apply what they've learned to other situations.

03 Manual Screw Tightening: A First Look at the Work

"If I don't get into a good university, I'll end up tightening screws in a factory," but are screws really that easy to tighten? This time, we specially arranged a hands-on screw-tightening experience. The experience itself is educational and thought-provoking; judging from the focused expressions, you're sure to gain something. "You have to align the screws with the hole and control the force," one student who had just finished the task remarked, "Doing this every day is really tough, especially boring!"

04. Learning AI and Sharing Knowledge: Next, master's student Liu Xingyu shared his insights on "From Exercise Books to Spaceships—The Technological Magic Hidden in 'Knowledge'," captivating the students' attention. After class, students actively participated, asking questions and sharing their takeaways. It is believed that from today onward, they have gained a deeper understanding of artificial intelligence and intelligent manufacturing.

After the event, the organizing committee not only gave everyone a gift, but also arranged lunch, concluding today's study tour to iHF with a joyful meal.

Study tours are becoming "mobile schools" and "schools without walls"

Many answers not found in books are hidden in life

May we, with our parents' support, internalize the paths we've walked

as motivation to take root and grow upwards

and ultimately, see a better version of ourselves
